What are partial dentures?

Removable replacements for missing teeth and surrounding tissues, used when one or several natural teeth remain within the jaw. Normally made of acrylic or metal, they fill the gaps created by missing teeth and stop other teeth from changing position.

What are dental bridges?

False teeth (pontics) attached to dental crowns on each side of the space left behind by one or more missing teeth. This ‘bridge’ fills the space. They are typically made from porcelain or ceramic to match the color of natural teeth.

Partials Vs. bridges

Fixed bridges are permanent while partials are removable. Consider which type you want and need.

Durability - Partials generally last up to 15 years, while bridges last 5-7 years.
