Paperless Dental Practice
We are a completely digital (paperless) dental practice. This means all X-rays and charting are completed and stored electronically. This technology allows us to securely maintain your dental records electronically and cut down on the unnecessary paperwork used with traditional paper dental charting.
As part of our promise to be easily accessible, convenient, and efficient, we offer our patients a unique Online Patient Portal and in-office tablet kiosks. Our Online Patient Portal is a free and convenient way for you to access your patient account at any time! Using our Online Patient Portal, you can:
- View Account Balance & Make Online Payments
- Complete New Patient Documentation
- View Upcoming Appointments & Request New Appointments
- View Your Treatment Plan
- Educate Yourself With Embedded Oral Health Patient Education
Low Radiation Digital X-rays & Panoramic X-rays
Digital X-rays are a fast and comfortable tool we use to assess your oral health and dental needs.
They emit 90% less radiation than conventional X-rays, use small, smooth sensors instead of sharp pieces of X-ray film, and transmit the images directly to our computer screen and in-room monitors in seconds. With no lengthy chemical processing required, they’re a smart choice for your smile and our environment!
We also utilize digital panoramic X-rays, which help us visualize your entire mouth instead of isolating selected areas. This full view is especially helpful for complex and surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal. If we discover you have an impacted wisdom tooth during your evaluation, we may refer you to our trusted oral surgery partners to have the wisdom tooth extracted.
Sterilization & Safety Equipment
We adhere to the highest CDC, OSHA, and ADA sterilization guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and team. In addition to thoroughly sanitizing each room between patients, we have sophisticated sterilization equipment that disinfects every instrument prior to your visit. We also perform routine spore testing through an independent third-party laboratory to ensure that all of our sterilization equipment is functioning as designed. We worry about the cleanliness of our practice, so you’ll never have to!
We also maintain several emergency kits and an AED (automated external defibrillator) for patient emergencies.
VistaPure™ Ultra-Pure Water System
This state-of-the-art water filtration system filters our water supply so that you receive only the highest quality filtered water during dental cleanings and dental treatments.
Intra-oral Video Camera
An intra-oral video camera is an advanced piece of dental equipment the size of a pen with an advanced camera that can capture 360-degree digital images of your teeth and gums. These photographs help us provide accurate diagnoses and patient education by allowing us to show you exactly what we see during your exam in great detail but also diagnose issues that we might not have been able to see without the up-close view from the intra-oral camera.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is gas that is inhaled during your dental treatment. Nitrous oxide sedation will not put you to sleep but will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Nitrous oxide is a very safe form of sedation, and the effects wear off within minutes of the end of the procedure. Learn more about Nitrous Oxide.
Composite (Tooth-Colored) Fillings
Composite fillings, also known as tooth-colored fillings, are made from a durable mixture of resins that can be closely matched to the color of your existing teeth. These modern fillings are cosmetically appealing and have enabled us to finally make unsightly metal fillings a thing of the past. Learn more about Composite (Tooth-Colored) Fillings.
Telescopic Loupes
Telescopic Loupes are powerful glasses that have built-in magnification and lighting, allowing us to see fine details that could go unnoticed by the naked eye.
Invisalign® Invisible Braces
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straighten teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into the desired position. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth. Learn more about Invisalign®.
Six Month Smiles® Cosmetic Braces
Six Month Smiles® Cosmetic Braces is a modern twist on tried-and-true orthodontics. Six Month Smiles® uses tooth-colored brackets to gently and gradually straighten your teeth in an average time of six months. Six Month Smiles® has taken the best aspects of braces and modified the treatment and the materials to give adults a common-sense, cosmetic solution that fits their lifestyle.
